Thursday, January 12 will be our first meeting for 2012. We will meet, as usual, at 6:30 pm.

 

I would like to thank all of you for your continued interest and support. The coming year may be a rocky one, as evidenced by my lateness to release this note, but the group will survive the transition

 

The 4 discussion groups for January will be:

 

1. Mac 101 (basic skills). 

2. Portable devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod). 

3. Photography (including making photo books/working with iPhoto and other image editing applications). 

4.Office productivity software will return for this meeting. 

 

Please note that this is NOT in stone. The meeting is for you, so if you would like to change any of them, all one has to do is speak up.

 

Bring your computers. We will make sure we have some additional extension cords or power bars available, so feel free to bring your chargers as well.

 

Drawing items this month is software from MacWare such as Logo Design Studio Pro 2.0, MacTuneUp, MacFreelance, MacFonts, and Mac Website Creator.

 

As always, bring your questions about your Mac or software to the meeting for our Q&A session or submit them beforehand to Don Crandall. Just use the email address at the bottom. Remember - your questions are always welcome regardless of your computer experience. Please don't be shy!

 

Also don't forget those USB flash drives if you want to take home this month's selection of freeware & shareware apps, fun & inspiring movies/photos, Dashboard widgets, interesting websites and articles.
